i've been trying to sum up my thoughts on this book for a few weeks now and i still can't fit all of them into a coherent review so i'll just say that reading this somehow felt both foreign and familiar. would recommend.

despite the interesting premise that made me pick up this book, it turned out to be rather disappointing. the author was too ambitious for the novella format, trying to fit 6 povs into just a little bit over 100 pages. the tiny snippets of each of the girls' lives weren't enough to build proper characters so they all seemed to have the same personality and i couldn't really bring myself to care about any of them. i honestly think if it was a full-fleged novel, i would have absolutely adored it. still the author's beautiful writing style was enough to make me want read till the very end. i was just expecting something more...
