After watching the series on Netflix first I was itching to read the manga, and I wasn’t disappointed. It’s a bit different to the series but in my view it’s better. It sucks you in and just wants you to read more only 17 volumes I think it is to go. Cannot wait :)

Band of brothers is my favourite book of all time along with the tv series as my favourite film/tv series of all time, so when I saw dick winters has written a book I had to read it and I wasn’t disappointed. A lot of the book was already covered in band of brothers but it was worth reading it again from a different angle.

Not as good as the tattooist of auschwitz. It started off great and I was gripped but then it petered off and I got bored and was glad when I finished the book. It just didn’t grip me.

As a massive fan of the battle royale movies I was desperate to see more of the story of the lighthouse and it was brilliant. It added a new dimension to the movies, crisp artwork and loved the back story’s to the characters in the lighthouse.

Stephen Ambrose is an amazing author that brings the bravery and horror of ww2 to life. This book is one of his shorter ones but it still packs a punch. Detailed events with how the soldiers felt about. Cracking book.

Loved everything about it, the story the artwork. I know I’m probably too old for manga at 38 but it’s just addictive. Can’t wait to read the rest of the series.

Brought me right back to being a teenager again playing the Zelda games on the N64. Captured hyrule brilliantly. Gorgeous artwork and a gripping story.

I really enjoyed this, it was funny and full of action. It’s basically Deadpool in manga which works.

Hilarious, as I was reading I realised he sums up how I feel about the world and there is nothing wrong with that
