All of the characters are distinctively brilliant! Thoroughly enjoying it. I continue to be so impressed by TJ Klune's worldbuilding. I also feel like the book resolved too quickly, there was so much put into the setup that by the time the inciting incident happened it already felt like there wouldn't be enough pages to resolve the story, I think I would have preferred a longer travel and climax section or a shorter setup as is the book feels pretty lopsided. the bittersweet ending was nice but I think I also would have liked to know some more about what happened with the robots after.

Still Beating is a dark romance with a lot of trigger warnings. But what I like about this book is how they conquered their trauma together in a non toxic way. I loved the story. How they survived the tragic event and still ends up together and to be happy. They totally deserve it. Such an amazing book.

Mixed emotion with this book. I loved it but it kinda lack the excitement I get in turning the pages but that cliffhanger ending was epic! Give me the next book! I like the worldbuilding though but the characters are like meh okay.

Five Broken Blades was a really good assassin book! It switched several characters POV’s. I loved that it had found family, but I didn't know who I could really trust. I have troubled getting into the story on the first few chapters but it gets better and better as the actions start. Wonderfully developed characters, each with their own unique voices and stakes, each completely badass and believable in their roles, and just a lot of fun. It can get dark and violent at times (not a complaint) and some of the backstories are truly disturbing in a world where indentured servitude, misogyny, and slaughter are the norm, but there are also lighter moments of humor, comradery, and romance as well. But all the characters have their own agendas and everyone's keeping secrets and somebody (more than one somebody) is definitely lying.

Under the Whispering Door was really cute. I hypothesized it would be your typical Klune book, and it was, in the best way possible. I love the quirky, snarky mcs who eventually come around to be a loveable goof. The found family is so wholesome. Klune is amazing at blending scenes that have me rolling with laughter with scenes that handle much more serious topics.

A Tempest of Tea has an interesting and unique setting a tea shop for the vampire yet I found it a bit slow at the beginning. It was character driven but the character was bland and cold. Though I like Jin and Flick. And the unexpected twist at the end surprised me.

The chemistry between Leo and Lily was lacking and felt bland. I didn't feel any convincing tension or longing considering that they're supposed to be each other's 'the one', even after they reunited, so there's that. I'm a sucker for second chance romances but this just fell flat for me.
This may be for anyone who likes Indiana Jones, or National Treasure with a hint of romance.
