I adored everything about this book.  And those plot twists were so good.  I eat up their story.

I enjoyed this one enough.  I liked the characters.  I liked their journey.  But it was clear that I walked into a series. Lots of side characters and it was clear their stories play a roll in Evander's back story that didn't seem quite clear to me.  Or maybe I glossed over it somehow and missed it.  Oh well.
