Very- Very slow start.. Tbh in a way I feel like this didn't need to be it's own book? I still need to start part 2 but with the flow of everything i feel like the slow pace would've made more sense if the book was longer itself.
We have Hazel, sort of a cinderally in a beauty and the beast kind of story. Hazel bargains her life to save her father but Death doesn't seem all too bad? The story really kicks off when we meet Death, but that doesn't say much xD We have 3 chapters from Death's POV which fuckin sucks because I'd love a little more worldbuilding regarding how he 'works'? Maybe in the next book. Hazel mostly, drags on a lot. Or it feels like that because the writing is a little repetitive. The same word could be used in 4 consecutive sentences which slows me down a lot?

Is a nice read, I'm hoping for plot development, but so far it's not leaving the biggest impression on me.

so this book was significantly better than Haunting Adeline but 1) the plot? from book 1 was kind of lost and nowhere to be found, 2) its way WAY WAY way darker. Like, fucked up tbh xD
Zade and Addie are still annoying but at least this book had some proper character development and a storyline it went through.
Addie gets kidnapped and put into a groomers house, up for sale. Zade loses his shit (like c'mon dude, now it's time to put that god complex of yours to good use) and goes on an off'ing spree before finally finding where she is.
Addie did become quite the badass eventually which was kind of cool to have finally happening. Better than the first for sure but if you're looking for good storylines and writing etc I'm not sure I'd recommend this much. It's mostly just, fucked up corn x)

Ok so yeah idk. I finished this book and i still don't know how I feel about it. Only a couple chapters in and I was already slowly starting to question if it was going to get any better? They kept dragging on so much and I was eager to read some of Zade's chapters because at least they had, /some/ sort of plot and action? Addie is whiny, and a little annoying, and unlike other FMC's with questionable morals chasing the walking red flag, I couldn't find a sprinkle of sense in anything she did. For example the FMC's in Emily her Never After series at least make sense about their choices to fall for the men they fall for. This book was 500 pages of Addie in denial, taking 0 steps about it and then sort of finally somewhat giving in but also still not entirely? Just , accept what you're falling for OR do something about it fr?  If it wasn't for Zade's POV i probably would've DNF'ed.
I would've liked to read more of his plot tho. Even though it's fucked up and all, at least there was /some/ depth and motivation to the story other than just, Addie talking to herself for 3 chapters.

The writing? Meh, cringe, and not great?
The smut? Man got me blushing a couple times though for sure. Man couldn't be more than a walking red flag but damn does he know how to work a woman?
BUT ALSO LIKE come on, you literally off people for fucking up woman/children but then you go ahead and do it yourself?
Also as if there's no men in the trafficking world?

I still wanna read the next book though. The end finally got interesting and that when I did finally got more and more invested into the story so we'll see.

This was such an incredibly enjoyable read?! I laughed out loud multiple times at Oz trying to navigate the human world and Mariel's banter with him and her best friend. Steamy romance blossoms which is what I read this for, a simple romcom kind of romance, i thought. It's a really comfy and easy read but with a lot more layers to it. It touches upon rich privileges, capitalism, educational systems but also emotional manipulation, narcissistic parents and such. Despite the deeper topics it didn't feel like a heavy read in any way and Oz is such a bean wtf? Mariel is a curvy gal which was also a nice change for once? But the emphasis on her being curvy didn't feel awkward or forced, which as a curvy gal meself, was kinda nice also xd.. Loved it and absolutely recommend!

Honestly I knew this was going to be a fave and yesπŸ₯Ί. The final book of the Dreamland Billionaires follows Callahan and Alana. The character growth? I would have liked to maaaybe have had a little more on Lana's side but ugh this was good. Kids playing matchmaker and having more insight than the adults is always hilarious and Cami is a b e a n. Lemme tell you.
Cal?πŸ‘€ Sir, listen, ok, please dare me? I accept the challenge?πŸ‘€ - His storyline was so good. My favourite of all the brothers for sure. The way he grew through his challenges, was there for lil Cami and Lana, worked on his issues and stuff, very well done.
The spice?πŸ‘€ If you like them where the girl pushes back a bit, this is deff going to be a recommendation for you out of all three. Lana has attitude and I am here for it!
I binged this in basically 1.5days? It's a super easy read and I flew through it!

Declan πŸ‘€ my man, is the definition of grumpyπŸ˜‚ - This is the second book in the Dreamland Billionaire series. We follow Declan, the oldest. In order to get get his inheritance he needs to marry and have a child. Due to scaring away the initial woman for the contract, his assistant Iris steps in and they enter a fake marriage.
Surprise! Feelings turn real and bam :)
I loved seeing Cal more this book and I honestly can't wait for his story but reading about Declan and Iris was so nice. I finished this in almost one day πŸ˜‚ typical grumpy X sunshine, good spice, girls who don't take shit and some groveling for the Billionaire, aka all in all a very comfy read πŸ’œ

In Finale we follow both Scarlett and Tella have big big choices to make, with an entire empire and themselves in the balance! The game of games... This was absolutely my favourite out of all three. The Dual POV was a +1 because I tend to like Scarlett a liiiiiittle more..πŸ˜… The worldbuilding was AMAZING! I had to get into it again like the other ones but once it was going it was going and I was at the edge of my seat. There was so much happening and I actually commented out loud every now and then at plottwists. Scarlett and Julian are my absolute favourites. My lil scroundrel πŸ’œ Scarlett and Tella are absolute badasses, and I'm liking more and more the way they are written. deff a recommendation ✨

I really, really like Georgie! Her personaliyy is so well written and the way she leads the group is pretty cool. This book is a small 'honeymoon' with Veksal to bury the girls they lost and so well done. I enjoy the storyline as much as the smut in these books :)
