This is such a unique fantasy novel. An older FMC, really cool Magic system, takes place in real places and has some real historical elements. I really thought it would be a 5⭐️ for me but the last half just dragged and I couldn’t get myself to get back into the story

I put off reading this overhyped book for so long and I do not get it. Dude was Mr. grumpy no attachments until one romp and then suddenly was all in? The buildup I enjoyed, I was eh after the first hookup, then totally lost interest after the stuff with her father.
