Unexpectedly dark
Liked the connection with Virginia Woolf - emulating her writing style (surface level joy - wedding, yay vs internal suffering - depression, boo)
Kinda disappointed that they got together in the end so predictable 🙄
First person narration and the monologue of thoughts by our FMC slowed the pace right down for me (bad)
Loved the dialogue between Lila and Phoebe - The influence all these characters had on each others lives (interconnectedness of community/human experience)
