Reviewing books is so odd to do on a 5 star scale. The books I rate as 5 stars always stick with me weeks after reading. They give me ideas to mull over, problems to solve, and resonate. 

I would recommend this book to anyone struggling with their place in an increasingly bleak world. This is not a feel good novel, but it is approachable and meaningful. Enjoyable despite some darker subject matter. 

Also like totally wild timing. A pandemic novel published in 2018. Goosebumps.
