I fell in love with this book. as an autistic woman I related so much to Dora and her inner monologues. she felt so real to me, and the way the world treated her reminds me so much of my own experiences

the love story is sweet and pure, with the love interest himself being more interesting than the normal brooding alpha male types.

i loved it. I just wish more aspects of the magic and the world of faeries were fleshed out. a bit less regency era politics and more magic would have done the book a favor.

confusing and underwhelming, written like a YA author trying to be more mature. historically inaccurate cursing and too much POV switching.

the 'action' scenes were confusing, the reveals weren't very exciting. magic system wasn't explained very well and the ending was bleh.

it's a bleh read. i promise you'll find something better if you look.
