A Court of Thorns and Roses by Sarah J. Maas

I loved this, and inhaled it when I first read it...and when I read it again. There are very few books that I want to read multiple times, especially so quickly, but this is one of them.
You will get sucked in deep to this world. It has been living rent-free in my head for so long, and I'm not interested in letting go anytime soon.

This was a little slow for me to get into, but once you do there is absolutely no looking back. It is truly a fantastic story.

This was on my TBR for far too long, and if this is the case for you, please listen to me...read it! It is SO good.
Amazing plot. Amazing world building. Amazing spice.
Dianna is a morally grey MMC and I loved that.
All round amazingness.

I'll eat up any ACOTAR story, but this didn't feel particularly necessary. A lot of this could have been addressed in the full length novels.

This is GOOD. Like 'sit down and don't get up again until it's finished' good. It will consume you in the best way possible.
Please do yourself a favour and read it!

I hadn't realised people felt so negatively about this book. For me, the experience was the polar opposite.
It is clear Auren is being abused and has been almost her whole life. The journey to realising that and then recovering from it is long, painful and messy. This book does such a beautiful job of documenting the beginning of that.
The world is not all happiness and rainbows, and abuse is very rarely black and white.
Definitely you should read the trigger warnings before starting as it can feel overwhelming.
As a SA survivor I found this whole series incredibly inspiring and healing.

This is a true love story. The way the romance is written is so real and organic and it contributed to such a magnificent story. It's heartbreaking and beautiful and suspenseful.
I would eat up anything Carissa Broadbent writes, but this is by far my favourite.
