I’m writing this with tears on my eyes at 1 am (and I have to wake up early) because I just couldn’t put it down before finishing it.
I’m speechless. Ever since first reading about this book I knew I was going to like, it but I didn’t see it being THIS MUCH.
I’m completely in love with Rowan and Zahra as characters and as well as a couple. They made my heart so happy with their banter and cuteness, I can’t even put into words.
This book made me laugh and cry at several points and I’m honestly with such a bittersweet feeling after finishing it. It’s been a while since I’ve read a book that made me feel this way. I’m completely in love with them.
ALSO Declan and Iris?! Can’t wait for their book!

this had so much potencial and it honestly saddens me that i didn't feel like it should get a higher rating specially since i'm a best friends to lovers supremacist and i've been excitedly waiting for this one since its trope was announced, but it is what it is.
mostly, for a book this size i feel like so much time was wasted on scenes of them dating other people, instead of choosing to show us more of them as a couple afterwards, or more of breaker living in that awareness of his feeling for his best friend. you want to add that element of them having other people around before the mcs get together to create tension? totally fine. but not so many scenes that i can get actually grow very interested on the other woman and start to care about hers and breaker's relationship, and feel bad for her inevitable rejection.

btw, the insane overuse of italic text drove me CRAZY. seriously, i felt like i couldn’t find a single page where there wasn’t italic somewhere.
