I really, really wanted to give this 4 stars but then I had to take into account how I took foreverrrrrr to read this.  Libby said the following about my audiobook rental "Since 21 Feb, you have picked up this audiobook 28 times". That stat alone was crazy to meee.  If we review the data which I always do, it rarely ever takes me this long to finish an AUDIOBOOK of all things! I really did enjoy it though when I could get into it, this is massive world building but it was so fun to listen to.  My favorite quote from the book:

"The greatest peril to the Giver is the force that takes. the greatest peril to the Taker is the force that gives. It's as easy to be overwhelmed by giving as by taking."

Death cleaning you say? It's a swedish phrase or saying apparently. I looked it up and it's döstädning which looks as pretty as it sounds in my audiobook on libby.  Decluttering is something you have to do as a part of your every day life. My daddy said once, "mijita, we wake up, we spend all day cleaning and we go to bed and repeat, the cleaning never stops."  The point that caught me was "you're never going to get around to it" because girl you're right, I'm never going to get around to some of my crazy design and organization ideas in my home.  Thennnnn you hit me with that office reference! Like omg get out of my head. This was a straight talk, kick you in the pants, stop hanging on to things you don't use or need and will never use or need in your lifetime, kind of audiobook I needed.
