Ben didn't dance ONCE and he's an expert back up dancer in a past professional life?! Regardless, he was cute and his fam was cute. Anna was a little relatable but I didn't fully connect with her the way I wanted to as the FMC. Fake dating but then they fall in love tropes are normally a hit for me, so I get why I enjoyed this as much as I did. I read it while I was in Chicago on vacation, great book to read on a trip!
4 very cute YA audiobook. Pretty fast paced, a little silly but it's high school kids and they're all pretty well behaved honestly. Miscommunication tropes are my least fave but it was easier to believe because of their age group, and the MMC was just too cutes.
I just wish Soledad's career wasn't what it ended up being. Loved the drama, and Soledad is just too good of a human being OMG how in the world she wasted time with her husband is beyond me. Please let me find a man like Juda, he was just a beautiful character and the kids were all so unique I preferred his sons to Soledad's daughters (they were very bratty/spoiled/entitled).
Loved the audiobook voices but I will say it was a little over the top at times with the exaggerated accents. This critique is specifically in reference to the spanish, it mostly annoyed me because it felt like it'd switch from one person to another when it was the same person. Just as a sounds person (very sensitive to words/sounds) Spanish words when intermingled with English should naturally flow and not sound like you're inserting a spanish vocabulary lesson.

Very cute, literally lol’d during the resort activity scene. Great vacation read, loved the ending!
enjoyed the audiobook, and the mystery mixed in there, made it very entertaining. One of those spirit trapped here until they figure out what happened to themselves and her sister helps her from the land of the living.
