It was slow burn fantasy. Spicy and got into the fantasy and world building. Little too slow paced for my liking. Overall good book. Would recommend!

Favorite book of series so far. It stole my heart and then proceeded to break it!!!! A few characters are so charming and alluring. So much more magic and creatures are being introduced. It was amazing

I adore the main character! I’m rooting for her all the way. And don’t get me started on the sexy Caption of the Guard. I felt like I was watching a movie the entire time and it was all well paced. Perfect ending to wanting to to grab the next book. Highly recommend!

Omg my heart!!!!! I adored this book so much! It was flawless from beginning to end. It was amazing!

A Ship of Bones & Teeth by Karina Halle
Did not finish book. Stopped at 65%.

I was entranced by the sirens, pirates, and retelling of the little mermaid. I thought author did fantastic job at describing the characters. However, I felt the book lost my interest very quickly. I had to push myself to keep reading but I couldn’t go on. A lot of the characters choices kept making me frustrated and the love story was not my cup a tea. 

I would recommend to people who love to read about sirens or pirates. It’s worth giving a shot!

I’m glad I read Haunting and Hunting Adeline before Satans Affair. It gave me a better since of Sibel. I enjoyed seeing the perspective of Sibel and how her past inflects her current reality. The way she survived despite the horrific abuse she sustained as a child. As a Psych major this definitely peaked my interest. 

I did enjoy learning and knowing the faces of her henchmen. Her relationship with each one and her love for the pink knife. This is definitely a twisted book with gore and violence! Read the trigger warnings!!! 

It includes graphic sex scenes with multiple people. Killing demons and torturing.

Personally, not my cup of tea. Male was toxic “not in sexy way” and was cringe. The beginning of book was great but the more I read the less interested I became. Was so upset it left with too many unanswered questions. Also, preggo trope.

Currently adding rest of books to my TBR list! Was surprised at how much I enjoyed this book. Highly recommended!
