I gave this book four stars because it was gripping and one that you could not put down, the only thing I was not a fan of was the surface level character backstories. I would have loved to know more about where they came from and how they got to this rest stop.

I just finished my January unreadshelf project book, An Anonymous Girl! I really enjoyed this book and will be picking up The Wife Between Us because I really liked Greer and Sarah’s writing styles together. I always enjoy a book with different character perspectives and this one was no different. I gave it 4 stars because although I liked the book and felt it was an original story, I felt like it dragged on a bit at the end and would have preferred it to be less twisty so I could follow the storyline better.

I just finished one of my BOTM that I have had on my shelf since I believe November. I actually really enjoyed this one and even though it could be predictable at times, I found that there were twists and turns that kept it interesting! I also really liked how fast paced it was and for this reason I was able to finish it in less than three days.

I finished Cross Her Heart earlier this week and I was pleasantly surprised by how much I loved this September BOTM pick! I have had this sitting on my shelf for months and I finally picked it up and I’m glad I did. I really enjoyed the twists and turns this book took and when I started I didn’t think that was how the plot would turn out. I gave it four stars because I really enjoyed the plot line and characters but would have enjoyed a little more background information surrounding the main twist.

Just wow! That’s all I can say. It really hooks you from start to finish.

The book was definitely interesting and a fast read but the plot got too twisted and unbelievable and the writing in third person made it hard to get to know the characters. I felt as if the reader could get a lot more from the book if there would have been individual chapters for each character because we only got a surface look at who they were throughout.
