fun! easy! I think it was a lil fast to be enemies to lovers but it eas fun! I wanted to see how they met anya
this wasn't very good! the motivations of the main character changes a lot with no real reason and the stakes kept changing and were all over the place. could've used some tighter plotting and felt like someone read crescent City and was like.....hey I could do that
fine!! I forgot some of the characters and felt insane reading it on the bus lol
very fun, knew immediately it'd be a popcorn book and I was down. I might be a little to attached to Greek mythology to ever be able to truly enjoy a retelling but I do love some trials
I liked the first one more but this was still good. I fear it's jumping the shark a bit with all of them having powers, and introducing vampires lol. But I'll read the last one in the trilogy. I do appreciate the PhD candidate reads lol very accurate and cutting
Took me a while to get into it, mostly because I watched Nosferatu like right before. Once I was like 100 pages in it really got going and was super good. Would read again! Also had a really cool foreword about the role of Dracula in culture in the last century
ripped my heart out, stomped on it and then spit on it for good measure. loved it!!!
I didn't like how this book started (in general not a huge fan of prologues in the future then a "how'd we get here?!" sort of premise) but ended up really enjoying this. I too am trapped in a cage of my own making (my own dissertation lol). will definitely read the next one, I do like darlington lol
this is such a fun series! this lady can really write some compelling political intrigue. for how little I care to understand historical economics I'm very invested in the trade agreements in this world lol. very twisty ending and I don't want to wait !!
I actually kind of enjoyed having seen the movie first, so I could hear all the songs in my head. really great to hear snows actual POV he was genuinely even more of an asshole than I expected :)
