I went into this book pretty blindly as I haven't watched the anime and wasn't sure what I would think about it, the only thing that I really knew about it was that people in this world had quirks and the main character was one of the only ones without one.

That being said, I love books about superheroes or people who possess superpowers and I think that is part of the reason that I loved this book so much, it still felt as though it moved too fast and that is why I haven't given it the full five stars but other than that I'm definitely looking forward to hopefully watching the anime.

I wanted to enjoy this book, I loved Simon Vs the Homosapiens Agenda and Leah on the Offbeat even more, however this book fell flat for me, it felt as though it didn't add much to the story at all which is disappointing considering that I love Becky Alberalli's writing. The only reason that I didn't DNF this book or rate it one star was because it was short and I was already invested in the characters. Simon was the worst part since for me it felt as though he had nothing of his original personality in there, some of the other characters suffered from this but I feel that Simon had the worst.

Would I recommend this book? No

It took me an embarrassing amount of time to read this book but I did enjoy it and think that I would have enjoyed it even more if there hadn't been such a huge amount of time between starting it and finishing it.

I wasn't sure what to expect going into this book and I mainly picked it up because I loved dinosaurs so much and I think that if I had read this book as a child it would have been one of my favourites. It's ridiculous and kept me laughing throughout because of the rhymes as well as the images. I recommend this for anyone looking for a short and easy read or something to make them laugh. I also think that this would be a perfect read for any children who are into dinosaurs.

Overall, this book was an easy five stars for me and I will definitely be picking up the similar book by the author.

I've been trying to read more poetry lately and the synopsis of this one intrigued me as I wondered how much of this book would be relatable to me and I would say that more than half of them were. It was painful to read but I think that for me it was the painful realisation that this is something that I relate to, rather than a bad kind of painful, I recommend this book to anyone who loves poetry or anyone who wants to get into reading more poetry. The writing was beautiful as well as the illustrations throughout.

This is an old review that will be replaced by a new one once I type it up.

This has always been my least favourite of the series, however that doesn't mean that this is a bad book, but rather that it holds less interest for me

I love certain things about this book, such as the introduction of more monsters, Tyson and Kronos. As well as the whole quest for the Golden Fleece

However as I'm reading it, I always felt as though something was missing, as though there could have been more to this book. And the ending always bothered me, the plot twist just felt too predictable to me, even the first time that I read this book
