I loved this book even more than the first in the series and am looking forward to starting book 3 on Monday when I go on holiday

I can't even put into words what I loved about this book, other than the characters, worldbuilding, The Battle of Blackwater and so much more

Season 2 is my favourite season of the show so I was expecting to enjoy this though not as much as I did

The beginning is pretty slow and there is a lot of talk of politics and war, but as I listened to the audiobook while reading along, there wasn't too many times where I was left feeling bored

I read this book a few years ago when I was obsessed with the series and rereading it now, I still enjoyed it, it was good, but I don't think that it was as good as I remember it being, perhaps because the series isn't my favourite anymore

However I loved seeing the backstory of the cat who is classed as the 'evil' cat in the forest
