A Night to Remember

I have to admit that I loved this book, especially since i have loved the Titanic since i was young, it has always been something of interest to me

I love how this book shows different stories and intertwines them all into one amazing book

I've read this book multiple times now and I always have mixed opinions on it and never know exactly how to feel about it

That is the case now as well, I like it and I like the concept as well as the characters but for me this is a difficult book to write a review on, as it is definitely not for everyone

I honestly went through so many different feelings while i was reading this book and ultimately i didn't know what i was going to rate this book, but did end up giving it 3.5 stars

There wasn't really that much that i didn't enjoy about this book, other than the fact that it felt like some parts were repetitive and became predictable through the middle of the book

At the beginning of this book i was really enjoying how it explained his grandfather's stories and his reasons for travelling to the island and visiting the children's home, after his grandfather's death

However the middle was where it had started to lose interest for me, him going back and forth between times often felt like it was getting too repetitive and probably could have easily been skipped, or at least parts of it could have. I had already guessed that something would happen between Jacob and Emma, after reading their first interaction

The last 100 or so pages was where it had really started to get me to enjoy the book again, from the wight and hollowgast attack to them having taken Miss Peregrine. The ending was a cliffhanger for me and i will definitely be continuing on with the series

I recommend this book to anyone who thinks that there is a possibility of them enjoying it
