what. i mean there are so many things wrong with it. AND TWO MIDDLE AGED WOMEN WROTE IT. but it was kind of a good plot but not at all at the same time. also who the hell says honey at the ripe age of 28

This book is so pretty both inside and out and i’m really sad i water damaged it but that gives it character. It’s great subtle aro ace representation and shows a lot about rulers who are women and how little power they have. It’s really just about a woman reclaiming her story from the different men in her life who hold power over her and always doing what’s right for her people no matter the cost.

okay so i like the idea of the book in CONCEPT but i think the execution wasn’t done very well. you can also tell that the romance aspect was written by a man, aka meaning that it’s bad and really weirdly written. but i do think it’s a very good book idea
