Max Monroe is a fairly new discovery for me. This is the second book I've read by them and I've honestly enjoyed both.
Blake is the ultimate green flag golden retriever football awesomeness. I'm telling you, there's something about a sports romance that hits different. I also love that Lexi is an intellectual. Like off the charts intellectual and neurodivergent to boot.
This is such a heartwarming story about overcoming emotional challenges and trusting your feelings. This would have been 5 stars for me but I really wanted to see more of the emotional side of the relationship grow outside of the physical. But I love these characters and that this is a second generation story so I'm definitely going to go back and read the parents' stories.

A short story packed with banter, swoony moments, AND suspense? Be so for real right now. Abby is already the queen of rom coms. Throw in some romantic suspense? Sigh. All the stars

This *almost* taboo romance was a little different for TB. Insta-chemistry to our parents are marrying each other so we can't act on our feelings, to a "screw it" moment, to a mini scandal, to an HEA. It was definitely a wild ride. I think the first book, Fan Girl Down is still my favorite of the series, but I still liked this one. I loved Chloe's growth as a person and her determination to get better and put in the work. Sig was down bad from day one. He literally did anything and everything to make her happy and keep her safe. All the parents in this book suck. Just saying. So many secrets and manipulations. Blech.
TB does spice really well. And the "screw it" moment is always a great moment. Throwing out your reasons for staying away and just giving in. Yum. Well paced and an overall good time! Thank you Avon & Tessa Bailey for this ARC!

A stunning debut from Erin Connor! An over the top hopeless romantic and a jaded romance author who has sworn off romance walk into an elevator. Sounds like the beginning of a good joke, but it's just a great time with witty banter, spicy times and heartfelt moments.
Mason needs to stay single and stay out of the paparazzi lens. Sawyer has zero inspiration for her romance novel and has a deadline breathing down her neck. After getting stuck in an elevator and a night together they run into each other again and agree to help each other out. Mason needs to not dive headfirst into every relationship and Sawyer needs book help. They decide to go on book worthy romantic dates- to ruin it for West and to spark inspiration for Sawyer.
This really is an ode to all romance lovers. Tongue in cheek tropes and delectable witty banter. I loved this so much. Love love love!!!!
Thanks for the ARC, Forever & NetGalley!
