Chapter 1 - 5
The start feels like it's much more convoluted and serious compared to the previous 2 books. I'm happy that Harry turned her aunt into a human baloon. The Azkaban guards seem like pieces of shit. The new Defense Against the Dark Arts professor seems nice so far. Idk if I should be happy about the fact that Hagrid is now a teacher for the Care of Magical Creatures subject, or feel bad for the students as I expect them to go through some traumatic experiences in that class. And lastly, Hermione needs to freaking chill bro, he schedule is not something a human should be able to keep up with.

 Chapter 6
That surprised me so much when Hagrid started shouting at the end of the chapter. But then I felt bad when he said, "I'm not worth that." Also I wish the creature had just bitten Malofy's head off.

 Ch 7-9
I fucking hate Snape. He's gone way too far this time. I was liking Lupin so much and of course that bitch just had to ruin it. (Lupin is also just such a good name.) And why's everything again Harry suddenly? He lost Quidditch, no professor Lupin anymore, lost in Quidditch, broken broomstick, Dementors after him, Malofy causing problems in Hagrid's and other classes etc. I feel bad for Harry bro

I hate Hermionie for telling Professor McGonagall about Harry's broomstick; idc what her intentions were or the fact that Harry got it back eventually, she took it too far. (chapter 11-12 I think?)
User 1:  but i mean...if the broom was actually jinxed, harry could have fallen down and died
User 2: it's true. also  imagine if they were right about sirius, I mean there was no evidence Peter Pettigrew was alive (End of book spoilers)
Me: Ok, maybe we can ignore that but what about her not caring what her shitty cat does to others pets at all? Ron said something about her never admitting she's wrong and I totally agree with him. Her biggest problem is that she refuses to admit her faults and apologize, and on top of that she still acts high and mighty even though others might be getting hurt emotional. In my opinion, whether she did something for some else's good doesn't matter, she should still apologize for a lot of things she's done so far in this book. Also, Fred and George needs to learn some manners cuz making fun of someone's pet possibly dying isn't something to joke about; at the very least not in front of that person. That must've hurt Ron even more

  Final thoughts:
What I'm more sad about than anything else is Lupin leaving Hogwarts, I like Lupin so much...  I want to apologize to Crookshanks for disliking him so much. Hermione's great now. It felt like Dumbeldore actually did a few things this time. I really wish Harry got to live with Sirius Black instead, but I'll be lying if I said I'm not somewhat excited to know how Harry's stay at the Dursleys will be like this time after what he told them about his godfather being a murderer, lol; I love Harry beyond reason. All n' all, this book was great. in fact I think I liked it more than the first two in many ways. But, as always, the best part of it all was, once again, Quidditch for me. I don't know why I get so excited, my heart rate increases and I start feeling an adrenaline rush, even though all I'm doing is reading or observing if you will. 4.5 outta 5 from me. I loved it.

Oh yeah, I forgot to tell; a number of my predictions turned out to be correct. I can't remember all of them off the top of my head but some of them include: Sirius eventually turning out to be innocent (I didn't know how I'd have happed tho), Lupin turning out to have some kind of a connection with Sirius, also about Lupin resigning... I thought it'd happen but that was something I wished turned out to be wrong.... anyways, there were more I think but this is all I can recall at the moment

My most favorite book of 2023, and it'll probably remain as one of my most favorites for a long time, if not forever.

This book was way written in a way that's too confusing for no apparent reason at all.

I'm kinda getting tired of hearing about Dumbeldore being the best, when he hasn't done a single thing so far. His Phoenix (my favorite mythological creature) has already done more than he has. At first I did think that Slytherin's heir might be Voldemort, but in the back of my mind I was also thinking, "I get a feeling it might be Percy... But maybe that's too boring so maybe there'll be a twist and Ginny might be the one." After chapter 15 I was convinced it was Percy so I was genuinely surprised to know that it was actually Tom Riddle, and the fact that he was Voldemort's 16 year old self.

Overall I liked the book a lot. I do think the second half was way better than the first half, as things started moving faster. I don't think it was as good as the first book but it's still a solid 4.5/5 for me.

Had to watch a analysis video to understand what was going on and that helped a lot. I'll have to reread it now that I understand what was happening. 3.5/5

I really liked it. Everyone told me it's good and I had high expectations going into it, and I wasn't disappointed. I wanted to end the Dursley's though. The pacing was very good, I like when stories aren't too slow. I don't really know what to say, about it except the fact that I liked the book. Hermione was a little irritating at first, but I learnt to like her pretty quickly. I like Ron's bluntness. Snape sucks, I don't care if he tried to save Harry or not, he still sucks. I will say, the end did feel a little underwhelming, but I'm not particularly bothered by it. And lastly, if there's anything I want from the book, it's the cloak of invisibility.
4.5/5 stars! it was a good read.

I liked how most of the things said in the book was told through stories and examples. And though I ended up disagreeing with a lot of that she said, I like how she didn't talk in vague expression. She said what she wanted to say, straight and clear. This was a nice read, it made aware or some things that never even crossed my mind before. (Like how in most households women do the cooking, but when we look at the biggest chefs in the world almost all of them are men. They are undoubtedly talented cooks, but it can't be a coincidence that almost all of them are men.) I do wish she didn't just talk about Nigeriens so much, but now I know that Nigeria has a big problem with genders (I am yet to know much of that is actually true though as I don't know any from Nigeria). Overall, I had my agreements, and I had my disagreements too, but I don't think disagreeing with a book necessarily makes it bad (though I had to think about that a bit before I made that opinion). It gets a 3.5/5 rating from me, it was good read.

I liked the book and its idea, but I didn't like the execution. It felt pretty slow at times and there were a lot of useless dialogue. The main character was really annoying. I also didn't like how to main character was able to think so much about what he should do before doing anything, but was also dense af at times for no reason. Anyways, I didn't like him. Yano though, I thought she was nice. Though, I will admit, she turned out to be way more thoughtful about things than I first expected. Oh, there were a few unanswered questions why I just don't understand why those questions were brought up in the first place if they were never going to be answered. Overall, it was an okay read. I didn't dislike it, but I also didn't have a lot of fun reading it. But I was able to kind of binge it which says that I did enjoy reading at least a little bit more than just "okay". It was my first time reading a Japanese novel/light novel type book too so that's that. Anyways, I rate it a ratin 3.5/5 stars.
