I liked the build-up of the characters’ stories, but it had me wondering why only some of them were useful to the story. Anyway, you’d have to trudge through the first few chapters to get to the hook in the middle. But I think the last chapter is the most memorable one. 

It’s a fun plot if you don’t think too deeply about it.
