Such a fun, campy, and creepy summer camp slasher! Fast paced and entertaining.

There were definitely parts that were creepy and interesting. Some of the language was annoying and for only 123 pages it did drag a bit. Overall, worth the read.

Solid story. At times very creepy and disturbing. Would have liked more about the Pied Piper case. Overall, a good read with a satisfying ending.

Overall, very good. The beginning was interesting, the middle kinda slow, then the last 100 or so page were so freaking good! Spooky as all heck! Loved Billy and his story best.

I LOVED THIS BOOK!!! Both stories! Read ‘Killer on the Road’ first. Needless to say I will NEVER hitchhike…ever! Such great intensity and horror…frightening. ‘The Babysitter Lives’ was amazing. A combination of Coraline and your worst nightmare (as a person who used to babysit). So freaking good! All the stars!!!⭐️

Very disturbing. Definitely channeling ’Lord of the Flies’ but the children are all 6 or 7. Some of the children’s inner dialogue was very mature and adult…not sure if this was intentional, but it made me keep reminding myself that the kids were in first grade and not much older. The end is quite sad.

This book is a disturbing read…so creepy and intense. I was very into it…Donner Party…things in the woods following them…until the end…nope! Overall, extremely interesting historical fiction with some good horror.

Really good supernatural thriller. The delve into the Potato Girl’s murder was both gripping and sad. Holding off on 5 stars for some science misconceptions. Otherwise, a quick and emotional read.

This book was cuckoo bananas exorcist channeling crazy good! I enjoyed the characters, the plot twists were well played, and the end was not what I was expecting. Only holding off on 5 stars because of one plot hole involving Brigid. Otherwise, that was a wild ride and worth every page!

Many thanks to the Horror Writers Association, StokerCon2025, and the publisher Quirk Books for the ARC. 😊
