There were definitely some good plot twists(some were oh so predictable); however I couldn’t stand Amy. She was completely annoying (this may also have been partly due to not enjoying the narrator for the Audible). Overall, the story was not very believable either.

Overall, the concept of this book was better than the execution. Some of the characters are well developed and interesting…the plot had a couple twists (only one I saw coming), and the setting was good. Just a little slow at times. Would consider reading the sequel.

Overall an entertaining read…the end fell flat for me.
It’s just SOOOO boring. I loved “The Count of Monte Cristo” and had high hopes for this one…just can’t believe how slow and boring it is. I’m sad 😭
