First of all, this is a SCRIPT. This was made to be a PLAY. So, judging this compared to all the other books in the series is not entirely fair or possible.
If you're a typical Harry Potter reader, you may be thrown off by the format of a script with only dialogue compared to the normal format of a full blown novel with much more than simple dialogue. So, keep this in mind when purchasing and reading this story.
Secondly, books are much more drawn out and elaborate. Scripts for stage play is a totally different playing field. The story moves quickly because it is meant for a stage. Super quick read.
The story was exciting and it was fun seeing the old and new characters interacting with each other.
I do have to say at some points I felt like I was reading a fan fiction story because of the quickness; however, there were great quotes, I cried, and the plot was fun to follow.
I wish JK would have written an actual book based on the script rather than just publishing the script.
