Megan darling, you deserve a hug, a warm blanket, and forehead kiss after reading this poetry book. I preordered a signed copy, FedEx dropped it off, and I finished it shortly after its arrival. It was beautiful, it was moving, with emotional and raw moments. Megan please continue to utilize poetry as  an outlet and an escape. I will continue to hand you my money with every release. 🖤

Launched October 10th, I read the entire thing on October 10th. I’ve been enjoying every book of the Windy City Series because if Liz knows how to do one thing, it’s make me swing my feet like a teenaged girl. 

Kai Rhodes our single baseball daddy who is a pitching star for Chicago’s MLB Team. 

Chef Miller Montgomery - yes chef, high-end boujee pastry chef who’s at the top of her game.

If you loved the show, do yourself a favor and start the series, the books have been nothing but perfection.

Outlander by Diana Gabaldon

As someone that’s been a big fan of the Outlander Show for a while, I’ve been dying to start the series. This book has been a wonderful adventure of passion, love, perseverance, and adventure. 

I am normally will die on the hill the book is better than the show, but goodness does Season 1 nicely follow Book 1. I am also a big fan of Claire and Jaime’s casting and chemistry and now having read the book I think the show runners have truly encapsulated Claire & Jaime’s love for each other in their acting.

Diana Gabaldon this book is beautiful, and I am so wonderfully happy that I picked it up.

I did this backwards, I watched the miniseries and then listened to the audiobook and bought the book. I loved the miniseries, fell in love with Daisy Jones thanks to Riley Keough. The audiobook was absolutely delicious, I felt like the show truly did the book justice with a few minor tweaks. I’m so glad this book got a miniseries, TJR deserves the praise with this one.

Mia wasn’t my favorite, I feel like she has a lot of growth to do.

Cali is amazing when it comes to this college hockey game, this book I demolished in an hour. The SPICE is delicious. Let’s just say it gives Russ’s new booktok themed song vibes. 😂.
