I did NOT like this book.
I was hoping, because it's a classic, it would be amazing.
The idea of the story is good,
but the book itself was dry to me.
I felt like there could have been a lot more interesting story within the pages...I was very disapointed.

This was such an awful and awkward book.
With all of it's rave, I was hoping for something really wonderful.
The idea of writing the Wicked Witch's side of the story brought me into it, unfortunately, the writing and story itself, turned me right back away.
I just can't get a good grasp on Gregory Maguire's writing. I don't think he has very interesting stories.
Good ideas in theory, but can't actually write a good story with the elements that he has.

I read this in school, like most. It was by far one of my very favorites I've read. I've wanted to read it over and over and the biggest surprise about it was that it's the only non-fiction book I've actually LOVED. It's a very good read and I'd recommend it to anyone who wants a really depressing and terrifying story.

Amazing book, just all around amazing. Probably my next favorite series, right after Harry Potter.
I love all the characters and the setting, the school, the people, and I love the twist on these vampires, so different and unique, which is what truely captured my heart.

I absolutely loved this book, I loved each of the short stories.
Certainly going to be reading this to my future kids.
