I accidentally read this after A Touch of Ruin so now a loooot more things make sense for that book lol. But Hades saying “fucking fates” always had me snort a little, he is a verrryyyyy horny God.

This book was so much fun to listen to!! I don’t really know anything about Persephone's and Hades story but this is soooo interesting!

Persephone can be a (lot) insufferable tho. While I fully get her reasonings, Hades deserves a medal for putting up with all her drama

SOOOO GOOD!!! The secret society was so much fun, almost gave me Rory and Logan vibes from gilmore girls 😍 the plot was super interesting, but I was a little bummed that everything hit the fan in the last like 5-10% of the book. The ending felt super rushed and we didn’t get answers that I so desperately wanted.

Overall, I had a fantastic time reading this book and I love Claire’s writing.

Story retelling tropes are not always my favorite but I really enjoyed how this one played out! The main characters were sweet, it featured panic attacks and how to help them, and overall overcoming something pretty shitty.

I don’t think I’ve ever read a book that ended like this 😂😅 over all Never Lie was a super interesting story! I had a good time listening and was 100% on the edge of my seat.

This book was so sweet! I love how the characters balanced eachother out. His millionaire mindset with her thrift shop ways 😍

I’m pretty sure I didn’t like this book. I can’t quite put my finger on it as to why, but both the fmc and the mmc drove me crazy. Their insecurities and lack of any sort of communication skills was seriously ridiculous.
