Wow!  An array of short stories but each one unique and powerful.  I fell in love with this author because of this book and immediately went out and bought one of her series.

It Happened One Summer by Tessa Bailey
Did not finish book. Stopped at 24%.

I kept seeing this book all over BookTok and tried to get into it, but I couldn't.  

The spoiled brat that goes to the small town to learn a lesson trope just didn't do it for me.  I found the shortend names of Pipes and Hanns for the sisters to be so nauseating.  I could anticipate each coming move before it happened.  

The line that ended it all for me was when the dude was talking about Piper being in her underwear on page 100, I'm all for spice in a book, truly I am, but the description of her "cotton cupping her pu$$y, a contrast of innocent and sexy.." was .... big time icky for me.
