“You’re the moon and I’m the tides. You pull me in without even trying, and I come to you willingly. I always will.”

Well, hello there, Weston Ryder 😍 Look, I love me a good enemies to lovers, but there is something about a man who is so down bad for a girl from the get go for me!

Ada is a recent divorceé who meets Wes with no real intention for it to go anywhere. Turns out this sweet little muffin of a man is exactly what she needs and she is exactly what he needs.

The way he talked to her just had me melting 🫠

“You are earnest and talented, tenacious and funny. I would never insult you by calling you something as generic as nice.“

On a journey to find more Cowboy romances, so after lots of recs, I decided to try Done & Dusted again. This book is proof that just because you DNF a book once doesn’t mean you can’t try again because I loved it so much this time around! I guess the mood just wasn’t right before.

I got major Chloe Liese vibes from Lyla’s writing style. I love the ADHD rep, the cozy romance, with a dash of cowboy. This was a cute and fun adventure. Can’t wait to dive in to the rest of the series.

The character development in this one is amazing!! I love love love the women in this series so far! It seems to be an unpopular opinion, but Nynaeve is one of my favs. Excited to read the next one!

Harriet does such a good job mixing everything that comes with a romance novel and also those deeper emotional connections with the characters that we are looking for. I love love love April’s desire to have that connection with her mom! I think that was my favorite part. I’ll never see butterflies without thinking of this book again!

I really enjoyed this! The author did such a good job with mixing world building into the plot, and in a way that was easy to understand. It was so fun to have a Romantasy with a Pegasus as well! There needs to be more stories with our fav fantasy animals!

The only thing I really had a hard time with was the amount of times the word “mate” and other phrases were said. It got a bit repetitive for my liking, but I don’t think it prevented this from being a really enjoyable Romantasy!
