I've never seen the word 'soul' mentioned so many times in a book yet still manage to mean absolutely nothing in the grand scheme of things.

This was decent enough in the beginning, but once I reached page 200 it got obnoxiously soap opera-esque and I prayed for it to end.

If you like wishy-washy female leads with unsexy, possessive love interests, you'll love this! If not, steer clear. 2.5 stars.

What's the definition of insanity again?

After reading the first book of this series, I said I would never pick up this one. Why did I do it when I knew it would be just as terrible? I'm insane, clearly. Adara? A one-dimensional idiot who says the same phrase every two pages. Evren is the same way. I have no idea how Thalia and Adara suddenly became besties after making zero meaningful connections with each other. I have no idea why I sat through the entirety of this. It's just so...ugh.
