This book was so much fun. I loved the story with it's twists and turns, the relationship with Nimona and Ballister and Goldenloin, and the illustration style was my fave!

I finished the majority of this book while rolling around in bed from 2am- 5:30am. For the bed to be such a scary place for Eden, I felt guilty to be perfectly fine in my bed. Amber Smith's writing is so thorough and thoughtful, I could picture the whole thing like a movie in my head. I'd love to see something do it justice.

I'm happy things tied up with Josh, I'm happy she told him first, and then Caelin. It was hard to see Caelin not be able to accept this image and life of his little sister, but yeah Eden was on a dark path of just using sex as an escape. In some cases that could be fine, but really Eden needed to tell someone about her rape but she was just too shocked, scared, and scarred.

All of my feelings are in that spoiler, but what a great book. This was a raw, great read.
