Killers of the Flower Moon: The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI by David Grann
5.0
Of the Seven Deadly Sins, Greed takes the front row in this historical account of the Osage Tribe's mass killings.
I felt hate and sorrow while reading this book. Occasionally, I would cry over a person's act of genuine decency.
I wish this weren't a book that had to be written. I wish it were a piece of fiction. But I'm glad that I know what happened. And even though I know the world will always have people who do terrible things, I hope for a little less greed and hatred and terror in the future.

What an honor to have been born during the time Avatar exists. An amazing read.

Me, through stifled screams, "ZUKO NOOO!"
A great read. I expect nothing less from Avatar.

Cat's Cradle by Kurt Vonnegut

It was a quick and just slightly absurd read. I appreciated the dark humor and blatant irony throughout the entire piece. I felt like I was reading a diary, where the author briefly mentions certain actions that are never expanded (but I loved it).
Stranger in a Strange Land by Robert A. Heinlein

Four hundred thirty pages of "You're stupid, and here's why." Less of a space expedition and more of a one-sided philosophy of humanity, a seeming excuse for the author to write his own oh-so-holy opinions. A book from its time: sexist, racist, homophobic, and just generally unrelenting in its slam of anyone who believes anything. Watch as a really cool concept of a human born on Mars, returning to earth, turns into "humans are despicable, now watch us make him human." Not enough outer space.
Stellaluna by Janell Cannon
I mean, it's a fine book. (My little cousin is going through a bat phase right now, so we're learning all about bats and their lives. It's pretty cute.)

I've actually read this book a few times now, but I couldn't bear the thought of moving this book to "read," because I will continuously be reading this book since I am YouTube Trash, and I am in love with these accomplished boys.
Well.
I love Dan and Phil.
Goodnight!
