Becky life is in ruins her policeman husband was a monster abusing his power so she reported him but things don't go her way when he gets away with it and she loses her job. Determined to bring him to justice she tries to gather the evidence needed to bring him down. He is onto her and will stop at nothing to shut her up. Becky doesn't realise just how much danger she is in.

This book pulled me in right from the start. It was a easy to read fast paced thriller with some shocking twists and an ending I didn't see coming. Will definitely be looking to read more from this author.

After initially DNF this book due to not being in the right head space. I decided to give it another go with the release of the next book. I am so glad I did I enjoyed it much more right from the start. I definitely wasn't in right headspace first time ! This didn't quite hit the same as The Echo Man but was still a really good dark thriller with some jaw dropping twists. Would recommend can't wait to read the next in the series starting it straight away 😊

Happy Publication Day !!! 🥰😍🥰

The world is overpopulated and families can no longer afford to have children and for some even keep the children they already have but a new reality TV show which inside the metaverse families can have a virtual child and if they win the competition then they get tho choose if they want to keep the child or delete the child from the metaverse in exchange for a cash prize to afford a real world baby.

Oh my this was AMAZING 🤩 John Marrs has done it again. This was an amazing rollercoaster of twists and turns and as each POV unfolds my jaw was on the floor with some of the twists. I literally could not put this book down. Highly recommended. GO AND BUY THIS RIGHT NOW !! (Do check the list of speculative thrillers as I do think reading them in order is a good idea as there are some mentions from other books PLUS THEY ARE ALL AMAZING ! )

Olive Anderson is dining alone at a hotel when a glamourous stranger joins her table, pretending to be her wife. What starts as a thrilling game quickly turns into something dangerous.

I initially thought I wasn't going to like this book and almost DNF very early but glad I pushed on a a little further as this became a thrilling page turner and I couldn't put it down. The story had me gripped. Would definitely recommend.
