Happy Publication Day !!! 🥰😍🥰

The world is overpopulated and families can no longer afford to have children and for some even keep the children they already have but a new reality TV show which inside the metaverse families can have a virtual child and if they win the competition then they get tho choose if they want to keep the child or delete the child from the metaverse in exchange for a cash prize to afford a real world baby.

Oh my this was AMAZING 🤩 John Marrs has done it again. This was an amazing rollercoaster of twists and turns and as each POV unfolds my jaw was on the floor with some of the twists. I literally could not put this book down. Highly recommended. GO AND BUY THIS RIGHT NOW !! (Do check the list of speculative thrillers as I do think reading them in order is a good idea as there are some mentions from other books PLUS THEY ARE ALL AMAZING ! )

Olive Anderson is dining alone at a hotel when a glamourous stranger joins her table, pretending to be her wife. What starts as a thrilling game quickly turns into something dangerous.

I initially thought I wasn't going to like this book and almost DNF very early but glad I pushed on a a little further as this became a thrilling page turner and I couldn't put it down. The story had me gripped. Would definitely recommend.

But everything changes when, in the course of her work, she discovers Profile Ks file because K stands for killer, and she knows that someone more dangerous than she could have ever imagined walks among them. Midnight knows what Profile K is capable of before he even commits his first crime. But as the news rolls with the brutal murder of a local woman, no one believes what she tells them: that he is capable of so much worse.

Profile K will kill again and, terrifyingly, Midnight realises that the moment she found his file was the moment she became his next target. Because Profile K is coming for Midnight and the only way to escape with her life is to find him before he finds her

Wade Darling stands accused of killing his wife and children but is he innocent or guilty ? either way it doesn't matter to his new barrister Neve as she has to make sure he is found guilty even though it's her job to prove his innocence because her life and the lives of everyone she cares about is at stake.

I am not always a fan of legal thrillers but this was written so well and the courtroom chapters had me on the edge of my seat so well written and kept me hooked. This was a fast paced rollercoaster of a legal thriller with some great twists. Would definitely recommend.

Thank you to Netgalley, Simon and Schuster UK and Jack Jordan for an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. (Sorry it's so late)
