Loved it. Loved it. Loved it.
I raged, I cried, and squished this book tightly.
"Pits and Poison" offers a delicious (wink-wink) blend of romance and fantasy elements that left me enchanted. This novel seamlessly continues the journey of its predecessor while introducing new characters and story depth. What sets "Pits and Poison" apart, however, is its exploration of immortality and its consequences. As characters grapple with the weight of eternal life, themes of identity, morality, and the nature of power come to the forefront. As a fellow helper and healer, Anna’s kindness, empathy and endurance felt authentic and tangible to me.
This series will stay on my bookshelf for a long time.
