Okay, so this was my first book like this, being more of a lighthearted murder mystery - compared to my usual quite dark reads! I absolutely LOVED it!
I want to start by saying that this book is an incredible piece of writing and seriously impressive. A brilliant debut novel from L.M. Chilton! The whole thing was really fun and refreshing.
I found the main character, Gwen, so loveable, she is witty and fiery and she definitely has her flaws! I love how much of Gwen's flaws we get to see. It really helped me to bond with her and kept me interested throughout! A loveable main character + great character development = a truly fantastic book.
I love me a good murder mystery and following along as Gwen and Lyons tried to unravel the mystery of who was behind these murders was such a wild, fun ride!
This was such an easy and enjoyable read, I flew through the pages. I will definitely be looking out for any future books by this author and I am definitely very excited to see if there will be others!
