Is this some sort of commentary on how men who are lazy, men who rape, men who are ungrateful and dirty are the true dogs of society? Yes, probably.
Sharikov, in his dog form, is more well behaved than him in his human male form.

THEYRE SO SWEET AND NICE AND-
Like, I’m not used to seeing such progressive talk in any media, let alone Japanese manga (which I’ve always just told myself ‘it’s whatever, they have a different culture of course they’re not going to exactly recognize all of LGBT+’ blah blah) but this manga successfully does something that global media has failed to do for so long; and that’s simple acknowledgement.
Maybe it’s the bare minimum and I’m just getting excited but they even talked about DEMISEXUALITY AND DEMIROMANTICS AND AND !!!!!!!
in the review for the previous volume i was keeping my guard on a little bit because i thought it might cross into BL fetishization but the manga acknowledges it and (in my opinion) by doing that also said ‘this isn’t what we’re trying to do here’
Just one chapter from this manga made me feel so much, they’re just so sweet it’s so comforting it’s insane.
Can’t wait for other volumes!!!

Very cute actually
The only thing I disliked in the beginning is how they made the ace a fujoshi, I was more okay with it though after they explained how it came to that point and what exactly it meant to her. Still think they should tone it down a bit but then again fujoshi has a different meaning in Japan and a lot of the mentions of the ‘fujoshi culture’ are said with humor in mind.
I love the characters they’re very cute <3

3.8 ⭐️ - the only reason I’m not giving it a 4 is because I have 4⭐️ books i’ve liked more than this
Weirdly enough some of the experiences she had are very relatable, I really do wonder if it’s an ace spectrum thing or just has to do with something else.
Very informative, I’d recommend to anyone who wants to know just a little more about the ace experience.
Comforting too, I liked bookmarking the pages i related to !
