I read this because I'm an autistic adult and I liked the sound of his approach to autism, so I was intrigued to read what he had to say in its entirety. After reading it, I would recommend this book so so strongly to parents, teachers, etc. of kids with autism. I felt so seen and understood as I read it, and it reflected exactly the way I would want to be treated...and that's the most helpful thing you can do for any autistic person in your life: see them, (try to) understand them, and accept them.
