Really great job on Rebecca for reporting on the buildings that she took pictures of. As well as adding in the history behind these places which adds a nice touch to who was involved in the places. Now I haven’t read part one of this series as I was only able to retrieve its sequel so idk if I missed out on other important sites.
I’m also glad some of the places are in use and are being redone again because yknow we have a desperate living crisis atm in this country and the fact some of the places that Rebecca showed here are left like rotting utter rubbish. Pretty disgraceful and shameful if you ask me as availability is scarce thanks to our Irish government (and NI) who pretty much don’t care about preserving history.

Well what can I say? It’s pretty much the same as any other shounen highschooler manga out there with various characters, over sexualised teenage girls and the same tropes that you pretty much don’t need me to tell you, even if you’re on your very first shounen series. But I will say the art is pretty good and it is actually not a bad read to waste time on if you’re in the reading slump!

Notice how I put the quotation marks there as I literally think it was sorta trying to be a “Junji Ito” type of story. I mean, I wouldn’t be a bit surprised that he got inspiration from him.
Anyways it was way too short like I did feel they could’ve fleshed the story out then rushing it. I really wanted them to deep dive on Chis backstory on how she got invested in making bug decorations as her kink. Also ngl, I think the Yua and her “crush but dirtbag really” were pretty weak and useless characters. I just think it would’ve been better if it was Chi on her own and forget about adding more in.

I tried getting into it and like it was pretty confusing like you feel that you don’t get a chance to know the main lead as a character and her goal to save the amusement park from this random Alice in wonderland-like wanna be killer which then turn out to be multiple killers? Yeah idk wtf is happening here man 🤷🏻♀️
