I read this and if felt like they could be rap lyrics. The rhymes and the flow was amazing. Trippy poetry indeed, this was a refreshing read. I would love for an artist to make some of these into songs for an anime or something. 5 stars for me. It's been awhile since I read poetry that actually made me feel.

This is like a 3 & 1/2 for me. I like the idea of the storyline. We follow Tamaska who is being hunted by Vampires over an important necklace that gets stolen. Enter Kodiak the shifter who tries to protect her against his Alpha's wishes. She's pretty rude and overly difficult through most of the book despite understanding the situation she's in. There wasn't much character development for her, I hope she has some in the next book. All in all the storyline is an intriguing one, the main character is just a little annoying. I hope Kodiak becomes Alpha somehow and Tamaska finally stops being a brat.

We follow Sully through his journey as a demon hunter. He meets Mick and agrees to help her find her friend. Through his search he finds out things about himself that were hidden. His chemistry with Mick is very natural and fluid. Lots of action!!!! All in all this was a great read. If your a fan of the supernatural I think you should give it a try.

I loved this story. It was so cute and wholesome. It follows Amaleigha, a 5 yr old who loves the outdoors and nature. She comes up with a brilliant idea and with determination and the help of others, she brings it to fruition. She proves that even young children can have a powerful impact on their community and the world. I hope you read it with your young ones, and I hope it encourages everyone to go out and do your very best for this world. Most of all I hope it encourages everyone to go out into nature more often.

Although it started off slow, I really enjoyed reading this. It's giving modern Salem witch trials and I love it. I'm a sucker for magic and I loved how realistic the magic felt in this, it felt more authentic than other stories. Also yay for queen romances!

This book is Beautiful. Just absolutely beautiful. I read this while recovering from surgery and let me to you no matter how tired I was, I wanted to keep reading.
The story follows Hester, and from the start we are made aware that she is different from those around her. She yearns to be a healer and seeks to do so through herbal practices. Her mother and brother do not like this snd they believe her to be a witch, and believe that forcing her to marry someone from town will help her settle and be normal. Marrying is not something that she wants, especially the person that her family has chosen for her.
At some point she meets Aaron who also knows a lot about healing with herbs and teaches her some things. Including the name of the River that continues to call out to Hester since childhood. The River's name is Sabrina and she seems to be trying to guide Hester through life towards a goal.
I love that this isn't just a happy go lucky whimsical story. The treatment of Hester during her time period is very realistic of what women went through back then. And the author did an amazing job of merging history with fantasy. 5/5 stars from me. Please grab a copy now!

Gathering of the Four is a very diverse book. I'm here for the LgBTQ moments!
This story is set thousands of years from now in post apocalyptic America. The way the author writes has had me hypnotized and drawn into the book. The world building is phenomenal, and I love the little Easter eggs throughout the book.
There are some "fresh" scenes in the story, meaning spicy!
The use of magic and technology has me super geeked out! Obviously I have to read the next book!

Quinnlyn tells Kieran that not only will she become his mate but that he can take over the Blood Sector. But on the day of their betrothal she runs away. Fast-forward... Quinn has been hiding from her "mate" for most of a century trying to solve her parents' death and save other Omegas all while protecting a family secret.
But now he’s found her and he is "pissed" off and has no intentions of letting her run away again.
This is my first time reading one of Foss' books, and I'm interested in diving into her other books.
This was a pretty good read. I like the dynamic between the two characters. Even though Kieran is described as a typical Alpha, you know dark and brooding.... he's anything but. He's really sweet if albeit not great with saying everything on his mind which becomes a running theme with the two of them. Both jump to conclusions and give each other a run around. I will say this is not a book for a feminist. It's made very clear that women are inferior to the males. Quinn can be very annoying but I do Love Kieran and how he holds himself.
All in all its an interesting story to read and I would read another one of the Author's books.
Oh and the plot twist is kinda like. Wtf.

I'll start off by saying that I did not read the first books in the series, however I stick found it enjoyable. The main character Julia gives a recap in the beginning of her past, that helped slightly but once I got into the story I got the gist of things. Julia is dealing with the consequences of her betrayal of her Ka-tet. It's like a bonded group of Vampires. She feels herself losing her mind all the while yearning to fix things between her and her friends. But honestly some betrayals are just too much to forgive. The fear of her apparitions returning and ruining her life again, has her seeking aid from Mathew who at first is very reluctant to be near her again but eventually realizes that something more sinister is happening .
The author has constructed an amazing world lore around Vampires and I think most will enjoy it.

Such a sweet character. Jake is afraid to go to daycare, because he's nervous to make new friends for different reasons. But he gives it a try with the help of his squirrel friend. He eventually finds 2 new friends there, one just as shy as he is, and he soon learns he had nothing to worry about. This is a great story to read to your kids to teach them to try new things. I love the Jake series, he's a sweet heart and I love the messages behind them. Each book has its own message and fun activities to do with your child in the back.
