Before you pick up this book CHECK THE TRIGGER WARNINGS, the beginning of this book can be very hard for some people.
I enjoyed the writing, some of the contents and was there for a “ride” no pun intended.
The things i had trouble with was Dr. Google Jake thinking he can help fix Conner with googling how to help get her though the pain of her PTSD and try exposure therapy that could have gone horribly wrong (in my mind it should have if they did not have a professional help), and what is with him and all the men in her life “protecting” her with all the lies and keeping her in the dark for years on end.
I might pick up the next books but if i do it will be not right away.
