Erasing History: How Fascists Rewrite the Past to Control the Future by Jason Stanley
informative
fast-paced
3.5
Important argument, but not exactly new. For a pop-scholarly essay, this isn’t a bad book but it doesn’t really convey anything particularly radical or revelatory for anyone who’s even somewhat familiar with the subject. Put differently, this isn’t bad scholarship, just lazy scholarship.
