Okay I struggled to start with because I went in fully believing this was a fun sappy romance- IT IS NOT.
Once I kind of got passed that, I really got into the story and the themes and honestly I really loved the characters. Hannah was a massive manic pixie dream girl but all’s fair in these types of books. It ended up just being a hopeful story with a lot of love for each character in their own way (the only two characters I didn’t end up fully loving were Aaron and Hannah).
No cats though which is disappointing.

I literally don’t know why I put myself through this shit again.
So it’s an improvement on One of Us is Lying but BARELY. Once again the main characters are really weak and boring and misogynistic. It was such a good premise but how can the whole book just mean nothing because of some unknown thing, like that’s the most off putting thing in a murder mystery. Honestly I love the pace of the book and it’s an easy read but it’s just soul destroying figuring out the last line about halfway into the book. There weren’t even any cats in it.

What a class book.
I loved it!!! It was a great pace, the themes were stunning there was enough going on to keep you interested but not too much so it overwhelmed you.
Felix is such a recognisable character and has a bit of everyone in him and his own growth in identity and character is amazing. I struggled getting into it at the start and there were moments that just seemed to drag and be exhausted but it was so worth it to watch it all play out.
There is a cat in it as well which I quite enjoy.

Okay this was a rollercoaster of a book and really easy to read, demolished it in about three hours give or take so that was a major plus. It’s a great book to get you back into reading if you’re struggling but you’ll either love or hate the twist. The twist pretty much killed the book for me overall because I was expecting a darker turn but it was still a decent read.

This was such a disappointing read, the stars come from the pace of the book because it was really quick and easy to read. The blurb is heavy misleading and the main character is a sociopath and has a major case of internalised misogyny that was just awkward.

I enjoyed this. It wasn’t incredible but it was a fun and easy read with a decently diverse range of characters. I’m a sucker for an enemies to lovers vibe so this was very cute for me. I felt it kind of went slow on some parts but it was a good pace overall and didn’t disappoint.

Honestly disappointing. It’s a decent read if you’re looking for something easy but it gets really predictable towards the end and is kind of underwhelming. I would happily punch every character given the opportunity and it’s a really weak attempt at including diversity.
