Lauren Asher always does such a good job incorporating realistic mental health struggles, disability awarenes and amazing character growth that never disappoints. A go to author when looking for deep, relatable fleshed out characters, Rowan and Zahra did not disappoint. Her work has a way of making you genuinely find a piece of yourself in a character to relate to. The premise of the whole Trilogy is so fun, whimsical and the first book really felt like a real life fairytale.

This is definitely my second-favourite read from the Twisted Series. Stella was the most relatable character out of the series, a very realistic and fleshed out character whose anxiety, struggles and overall personality I could relate to the most. Christian was a bit too macho Alpha man for my comfort; some scenes and quotes made me uncomfortable, being too emotionally constipated and morally questionable. Overall, a good mix of romance and suspense that matched the rest of the series.

This was a fun read, I was not expecting the Sci-Fi aspect in a romance book but I had a lighthearted silly time with it so I'm not mad about it.

This felt like I was reading Crying In H Mart all over again, not in a sense that the plot is the same but the immediate immersion and lyrical writing brought up the same feelings. The fragmentation and length of the chapters are such a good representation of her process and everything she went through, what she felt experiencing it all written so perfectly. The perfect balance of educating the reader and sharing your own experience that it almost felt like a story being told instead of a memoir but you keep getting reminded thst this actually happened to someone and is something present everywhere.

I was unsure of what to expect when I got into this one. The whole premise of a time-travelling serial killer is so interesting and captivating. Having to time jumps and POV jumps between every chapter made the storyline a little messy, but it makes so much sense for what the book is about. The author did do a phenomenal job of creating such a perverse and insane serial killer.

Reading this felt like a fever dream, somehow a bit worse than the first book. It was just so bland and boring and I was not entertained or hooked at all. The poetry was excessive and just not the best
