I love everything Sherrilyn Kenyon writes. This book was good but it felt so short to me. I finished it in three hours after getting it on my kindle as a pre order. It was well written the story was entertaining. Nick was hilarious as always. I just felt a little let down. It felt like a novella or a teaser book. I hope the next book in the series is a little longer and has a bit more of a plot. This book does fill in a lot of gaps about Kody which was great. I think i would have called this book 4.5 and sold it as a novella rather than the next book in the series.
Short but really good. Finished it in a couple of hours because I didn't want to put it down. I loved Alric in the other book and he didn't disappoint in this one.
