I was not a fan of how this book was written or paced. Overall the story was ok but I dodn't think it was very well done. I wouldn't read any of the others in the series.
It's been so long since I sat down and read a whole book in one sitting. Beauty captured me from word one. Growing up beauty and the beast had always been my favourite disney movie. Beauty inspired my love with her love of books and her kindness and open mindedness. This book perfectly captured everything I loved about the princess and put it into a story that is a classic on it's own but made better through McKinley's modern retelling. I would truly recommend this book to everyone i know. You will enjoy it. I guarantee it.
