Have you ever read a book where as you are reading a page you are screaming at the characters in your head, "No Don't do that! You are making a huge mistake!" Well I did that a lot in this book in regards to Artor marrying Wenhaver. She is truly a horrible horrible person. Anyway the book kept me reading through the night in order to finish the last half. It's exciting and I love the characters (except Wenhaver of course). I was happy to see the return of Nimue. This book was a great read and I have already begun the third.
I loved Dante and I loved the world in this book. There are a few moments where you don't quite understand a reference or a saying used in the novel but be patient all is revealed later and the book is worth it.
This book is amazing. The world is unique and the characters are truly well developed and relatable (even the gods). This is hands down the best written fantasy/mythology novel I have read in a long long time. Do yourself a favour and read it!
A Fast paced epic that easily = weaves history into the book without making it dry. Really good read.
