I was glued to my kindle. Conspiracy against the crown? Check! A fierce fmc with a prickly exterior but with a kind heart? Check! A mmc who had no other choice that accepted what the queen demanded but ultimately falls in love with his new wife? Also check!
I loved Sophie & Nash together.

Nash wasn’t excited to be forced into a marriage but he sought out to make the most of it from the very beginning and while Sophie made it very hard at first, he didn’t gave up. I liked that about him. He just couldn’t help but be enamored by her because she isn’t like the other ladies in the ton.

Sophie had a bone to pick with Nash since she was 15 and unbeknownst to Nash, he broke her heart but now they are married. Sophie struggled because she found it hard to let herself love again because he was careless once even though he didn’t view her like that when they were younger.
The beauty of this story was seeing Sophie let herself trust again and hope that Nash would take care of her heart.

Nash decision to help his friend’s daughter without telling Sophie was very unnecessary imo. Just why would he subject himself to it all when he knew how hard it was for Sophie to let him in. There were other things happening so I don’t think it was necessary.
Alas he repented for his dumb decision and I like that Sophie didn’t give in right away but it also frustrated me a bit.

The whole conspiracy thing took a turn I wasn’t expecting at all but I liked it. I’m kind of sad for Merrit though but I hope I’ll see him again in the future.

I had a blast with this story but I wish there was a bit more after Worth & Aurora finally came to their senses. After their back and forward, I needed a bit more of them together but other than that I really enjoyed them, both together but also individually.

Aurora was a breath of fresh air in the sense that she was the daring type. After what her and her family went through, a bit of gossip wouldn’t stop her from satisfying her curiosity. I loved her and I liked that she in the end wanted to live with no regrets and went after Worth.

Worth was scarred for life when it comes to love but Aurora penetrated through his hardened heart and never left. I loved that he chose to forgive the woman who did him wrong in order to fully appreciate the woman Aurora was and to move forward with her.

I also loved the side romance story we had going on and I’m glad the auntie had her hea too.

I have no words right now for this awesomeness.
2nd 6 star read of this year and guess what? My other one is JOT by this very author so I guess it’s her year!
Defenitely my favorite of this series

First things first, since Dear Grumpy Boss I knew Miles had a lot of potential and Weston ended up making me angry for things he said to Miles even when I understood where he was coming from. Point is, it was very clear for me that Miles was hurting very deeply and he was asking silently for help. This gold retriever of a man needs all the hugs in the world!
I honestly loved everything about this story. I had a bleeding heart for Miles from the very beginning and I relate to Daisy in some ways so this was a perfect storm for me. It was also the way Julia described things like hugs especially from Miles pov. It was so wholesome!
It's embarrassing the amount of times this book made me cry but I just couldn't help myself. These two were meant to be.

I love Miles! I love to see more of what he was up to. What he was like on the job but also how he was doing on a personal level. He worked on himself to become a better person for those around him while struggling with addiction but with help of a therapist and his dear friend Saoirse, he did it even when some days are harder than other but what I loved the most about it was that Daisy celebrated him everytime he hit a milestone after he met her and not only her but her family too. Like how wholesome is that? It was such a beautiful moment! I'm so proud of the person Miles has become.
Even through it all, he maintained his precious heart. He is such a good person and hurt me to see the despicable person his mother was and how much that weighed on him because in the end he is a bleeding heart type of character. He loves helping others even when it might cost him a part of his soul. I love that Daisy was all about protecting him in that sense which made me love her even more.

Miles has a very specific kink and I loved it 🤭. It was my first time reading it and I feel like I loved it because it was Miles if that makes sense. I just loved the whole thing!

Reed, Daisy's brother, was a big piece in this story in my eyes and he elevated Miles even more for me because Miles saw himself in Reed and he did everything in his power to help and that was another wholesome part of this.
Weston redeemed himself by the end imo and it was a beautiful moment too and what Miles needed.
I probably have more to say but that's it for now.

I loved the narrators but especially Tor's voice for Kol. Somehow it fits the way I imagine Kol would speak and it was delightful. Muffy also did such a great job. All around it was a very pleasant experience listening to this book.

Kol Voss is here y'all! I was very excited for his story because we knew he was trying to find a woman and boy his story was great.
Kol received the news he was waiting for years and plans to execute his revenge on the woman who left at the altar. 🤗
I loved Kol. He seems very unapproachable for most but deep down, he's just a man who was hurt on the inside in a time when he needed love the most. I loved everything about him and the fact that it didn't take him long to figure out that he was still in love with Rapsody.

Rapsody had a VERY sheltered life and I hated seeing it especially knowing what I know now. She is the type of character that I usually don't vibe with but there was just something about her that made me understand where she was coming from and I just love seeing her experiencing things for the first time with Kol by her side as it should be. 🥰
I loved the way P. Rayne integrated the maze and what it represents to the brothers in the story. They keep doing it and it serves different  purposes but it always represents a bow with this brothers and their hea. I just love the whole thing!
I loved these two together and what they did during the famous parties at Midnight Manor. 🤭
The plot twist at the end was surprising in a way but also not. I liked how everything wrapped up in the end and I can't wait to see Max, the puppy, wreak havoc at the manor. 😁

Nero, my friends, is probably the next Voss and I can't wait to see what's up with him after what we learned at the end of this story. 👀

I didn’t expect much from this since it’s a short one. It was insta lovey but I can get behind that. What I can’t get behind was the fact that Rain ghosted the woman he loved completely and 3 years went by and he was married. Like what now?!
Of course there were reasons why and I can somewhat get that but he could’ve comeback whenever he wanted since he just up and left the moment he learned he had kids so there was nothing stopping him. This was kind of a mess.

I can't believe I'm now just reading this but oh well, I'm here now and I can't wait to continue the series.

Vale has such a tragic life once she gets married and  she losing herself to the life her husband is forcing her to live so when the opportunity presents itself, she grabs it with both hands and saves not only her but another girl too.
I loved Vale. Everything was stacked against her including her new boss in Ibiza but she wanted her freedom more than anything so her new boss didn't scare her. I just loved seeing her be brave and discover new parts of herself. She had stuff to overcome and with the people she surrounded herself with, she gets there and she sees that she's a survivor and no one will take anyone she loved from her if she can stop it.

Damiano was a bit of a wild card for me but I actually loved him. He was hard on Vale at first and she also needed it in order to prove to herself that she could make it. Damiano took a liking to her early on so he put the ball in Vale's court to see if she would play and she certainly did.
I just found it odd that he didn't want to find out who she really was once they got involved especially because of what he does for a living.
The other stuff was surprising to me but I loved seeing Damiano fall head over heels for Vale but also seeing Vale's relationship with Damiano's sister and how much they helped each other by just talking to one another.

I very much look forward to the next book in the series!
